Business Systems Analyst – Hybrid
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate current technology and loan system applications used by the Department and recommend enhancements and process improvements to the Bank including, but not limited to, improvements that resolve business needs identified by the Bank.
Develop processes and policies that allow the Department to leverage systems in a way that enhances service, accuracy, and efficiency.
Research, implement, and direct the implementation of system solutions and improvements including, but not limited to, evaluating new possible solutions and ways to integrate platforms.
Forecast future changes to the Bank’s systems and plan accordingly.
Engage in vendor and project management in a manner that reaches established business goals.
Maintain a working knowledge of all technology-based systems implemented in the Department and ensure their reliability.
Become the subject matter expert on the integration of technology and the Department’s processes including, but not limited to, expert knowledge in LaserPro, DecisionPro, MortgageBot, ConsumerBot, and Bakerhill.
Create and maintain reports to support the needs of the

Contribute to audits, loan reviews, compliance, and safety and soundness examinations, including necessary follow up on implementation and correction where needed.
Be proactive and responsive to all inquiries by team members.
Prioritize and respond to multiple pending tasks.

Participate in Department meetings as scheduled.

Follow all applicable Bank policies and procedures.

PREREQUISITES AND SKILLS
The following are mandatory prerequisites to obtaining the Business Systems Analyst position:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years Technical and Loan Experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of the commercial lending process and possession of general business acumen.
Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations relating to loan documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop solutions meeting business objectives.
Ability to understand technical based literature and evaluate technical systems.
Ability to implement new technology-based programs and process
Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills including, but not limited to, business writing.
Self-motivated and high attention to detail and level of accuracy.
Ability to complete multiple diverse tasks, of differing priorities, without close supervision and perform under the pressure of handling matters of high significance or that are time sensitive.
Excellent administrative, organizational, and time management
Advanced computer skills including, but not limited to, knowledge in the use and application of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and LaserPro Database software.
Ability to define problems, collect necessary data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Possess basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
Ability to work in a team environment and facilitate workflow.
Ability to handle constant use of tact, discretion, and good judgment.
Exhibit high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling and having access to sensitive customer or employee information.
Ability to provide training and coaching to other employees.
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
The following are preferred prerequisites to obtaining the Business Systems Analyst position:
College degree.
