Payroll Processor
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Process and complete payroll maintenance for each pay period before payroll cutoff date; verifies, audits, and releases from the online payroll submission system.
- Process semi-monthly hourly and salary payroll
- Maintain and update the Bank’s payroll system as needed, i.e., earnings codes, deduction codes, tax rates, etc.
- Calculate manual checks as needed
- Timecard management
- Engage with employees as needed to resolve payroll issues or discrepancies
- Process and maintain wage garnishments from various agencies
- Complete EDD Benefit audits and claims
- Maintain and process all tasks associated with the 401K plan and NQDC plan for the Bank, i.e., enrollment, audits, distributions, rollovers, loans, etc.
- Complete GL monthly payroll balancing
- Update and maintain accrual policies for all employees
- Provide information and support to employees regarding payroll
- Assist with department audits – external and internal
- Complete all EOY reporting and tasks
- Assist managers with the termination process and track for appropriate documentation
- Follow all Human Resources policies and procedures while carrying out the daily tasks
- Additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BA in Finance
- 3-5 years of payroll experience
- Proficient in MS Office
