Bank of the Sierra recently named Rasmus Jensen as Market President for the Bakersfield area. Jensen, who was previously Senior Commercial Loan Officer at Bank of the Sierra’s Bakersfield Ming office, will oversee the operations of three branches in Bakersfield, as well as a branch in Delano. In addition, he will be responsible for assessing risk of all financial transactions executed by bank personnel, direct, coordinate, and monitor activities to implement institution policies, procedures and practices, and generate new business.
Before signing on with Bank of the Sierra in 2015, Jensen was employed by Farm Credit West as Vice President, Loan Officer. Prior to Farm Credit West, Jensen was Assistant Vice President, Loan Officer at Wells Fargo Bank. Jensen attended California State University, Bakersfield and has a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration and a Master in Business Administration.
