PORTERVILLE, CA – Bank of the Sierra recently named Steven M. Hurd as Vice President, Senior Real Estate Loan Officer of its Ming Avenue Branch in Bakersfield. In his new position, Hurd will evaluate and recommend approval of customer applications for consumer real estate mortgage loans and other consumer real estate secured loan products.
Hurd was most recently employed by Bank of America Mortgage in Bakersfield, CA as a Regional Sales Manager for 18 years. Prior to Bank of America, Hurd was Chairman of the Board for Manhattan Mortgage, Inc., in Lancaster, CA. Hurd attended Antelope Valley College and holds a Real Estate Brokers License.
