Bank of the Sierra Announces John Penrith as VP, Commercial Loan Officer for Southern California, San Diego, and Inland Empire

Porterville, Calif. – Bank of the Sierra announced today that John Penrith has been named Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer for the Bank’s Real Estate Industries Group. He will be responsible for developing and managing commercial loan accounts throughout Southern California, San Diego, and Inland Empire.
Penrith has over 33 years of experience in the finance industry. Before joining Bank of the Sierra, he worked as Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender for Torrey Pines Bank, where he developed investor and owner-occupied commercial borrowing and deposit relationships in the San Diego market. Penrith has also worked for California Bank & Trust, Capital Bank, Coronado First Bank, and San Diego Trust Bank in his career.
Penrith is active in the San Diego community. He was previously a board member for Feeding America, Big Brother Big Sisters of San Diego, Sharp Hospital, and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Penrith earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of San Diego. He will work from the San Diego area.
