According to Target Corporation, approximately 40 million credit and debit cards may have been compromised in a security breach between November 27 and December 15, 2013.
As an added measure of security to protect customers, Bank of the Sierra will be reissuing debit cards and limiting signature based transactions.
Customers experiencing problems with their Bank of the Sierra debit cards are being asked to try their card with its PIN number.
Bank of the Sierra customers who believe they may have been affected by this breach are being asked to closely monitor their checking accounts for any unusual activity. If you suspect any unauthorized transactions in your checking account, please call our customer service center immediately at 888-454-BANK (2265).
