A growing number of bank and credit union customers around the U.S. have been receiving automated phone calls and/or text messages in an attempt to steal debit and credit card numbers. We have received reports from customers, and non-customers, who have received similar phone calls and/or text messages attempting to gain access to personal information. These calls are not from Bank of the Sierra. They are an attempt to defraud you.
Please be advised: Bank of the Sierra will never ask for a card number, or any other personal information during an unsolicited or automated phone call or text. If this happens to you - please hang up immediately. If you think your account has been compromised or you are a victim of fraud, please call our Customer Service Center immediately. The sooner, the better. Report fraud by phone at 888-454-BANK(2265).
