Bank of the Sierra Awards Over $166K in Grants During Second Quarter of 2026

Community Bank’s Sierra Grant Program Supports 29 Community Organizations
Porterville, Calif. – Bank of the Sierra is proud to announce that it donated $166,180 to organizations across its service areas through its Sierra Grant Program during the second quarter of 2026. Since the program’s inception in 2004, the Bank has awarded more than 1,900 grants, totaling over $5.7 million to organizations that strengthen and improve local communities.
From April through June 2026, more than $100,000 in funding was presented to 17 organizations in the Central Valley. In addition to that amount, $23,000 was awarded to support seven organizations in the Bank’s Coastal and Southern California markets, while over $42,000 was distributed among five organizations that provide services in multiple regions or statewide.
