December 10, 2025
PORTERVILLE, CALIF. – Bank of the Sierra announced today that Cari Shore has been named the Bank’s first Director of Community Banking. In this new role, Shore will supervise key departments involved in customer experiences, including the bank’s treasury, marketing, and support operations departments. She will also direct the Bank’s Customer Service Center and its 34 full-service branches. Shore’s goal is to ensure that Bank of the Sierra’s customers continue to receive exceptional service across every touchpoint.
Shore will also help Bank of the Sierra build stronger relationships with its small business customers. She will leverage the expertise of the company’s local bankers, allowing them to focus on what they do best – care for the Bank’s clients and the communities in its footprint.
Shore has three decades of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Bank of the Sierra, she was Senior Vice President and California Retail Division Manager for WaFd Bank in Beverly Hills. In that role, Shore led strategic oversight and operations for several California branches. She previously led a variety of teams and customer facing departments at Montecito Bank & Trust and Rabobank. Shore graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School in 2017 where she returned as an executive student advisor and leadership instructor. She has been named to the Pacific Coast Business Times’ Who’s Who in Banking & Finance four times and also received recognition as one of their Top 50 Women in Business.
