Fraud Alerts Program Overview

Bank of the Sierra debit card holders may receive fraud alerts from Visa when a suspicious transaction is discovered. These alerts, which will be delivered by text to the number linked with the account, are designed to help customers catch potential incidents of fraud before being severely impacted.

Messaging frequency depends on account activity. For more information, text HELP to 2361823618. To cancel fraud text messaging services at any time, reply STOP to any alert from your mobile device.

Please note that Visa debit card alerts do not originate directly from Bank of the Sierra. Other alerts for various Bank of the Sierra products and services can be set in the Bank’s online banking portal. For more information, please contact our Customer Service Center.

For Fraud Alerts support, call 1-888-454-BANK Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 7:00 pm PST and Saturday, 9:00am to 1:00pm PST. By giving us your mobile number, you agree that Fraud Alerts text messaging is authorized to notify you of suspected incidents of financial or identity fraud. Release of Liability

Alerts sent via SMS may not be delivered to you if your phone is not in the range of a transmission site or if sufficient network capacity is not available at a particular time. Even with coverage, factors beyond the control of wireless carriers may interfere with messages delivery for which the carrier is not responsible. Carriers do not guarantee that alerts will be delivered.
