Our New Web App Launches on January 28.

Your commercial banking experience is getting a big upgrade. Starting on January 28, 2025, our new web app will replace the current Sierra Commercial Banking app, which will be sunset on February 28. You will no longer have to check if the most recent version of the app has been downloaded – it will be automatic!

First, visit this link on your phone’s web browser. Then, follow the setup instructions below.

Whether you’re on an iPhone or Android device, the process to start using our new web app is about as easy as bookmarking a webpage. But if you need assistance, please contact us at 1-888-454-BANK or SierraBusinessOnlineSupport@BankoftheSierra.com. We’ll be happy to help you through the process.

After clicking the link above, select the Share icon at the bottom of the page, then select “Add to Home Screen.”

After clicking the link above, select “Settings” (the 3-dot icon) in Chrome. Next, select “Install App” and then “Install.” You may be prompted to “Install” immediately after visiting the URL and not need to select “Settings.”

The progressive web app allows for quicker and more frequent updates, so you’ll always have a top-of-the-line product for your business. Plus, you no longer have to update the app manually!

You may download the new app starting on January 28, 2025.

Our new web app is completely replacing the current app, which will no longer be usable starting on February 28, 2025. So, please start using the new web app before that date!

Not really. Nearly all the features from the prior mobile app are in this new progressive web app. The look and feel of the app are very similar. Most of the features are in the same place. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at SierraBusinessOnlineSupport@BankoftheSierra.com.

The way you use our new progressive web app will be nearly identical to how you use other apps, regardless of how they were downloaded. It will appear on your phone’s screen like any other app, and after you bookmark the site, you will tap to start it, just like any other app. Given time, you may even forget that this app is different from a “normal” app! Plus, if there’s a new feature we want to add or a bug that needs to be fixed, it can be done almost instantly, without going through the app stores.
